Mount Marcy is the highest peak in the Adirondacks and the highest point in New York at 5,344ft tall (1,629m). From the top of Mount Marcy, you can see 43 of the Adirondack Mountain’s 45 peaks. Greg, John, Meryl, Nate, and Victoria all summited on September 2, 2012. We followed the Van Hoevenberg Trail up and down (14.8mi rt, 3,244ft elevation gain).
